We Didn't Build an Agency.
We Built a System.

In 1999, Cary Herrman and Ramie Ostrovsky met to begin designing what would become Ocean Bridge Media Group, Inc.

Before attribution models and fragmented media ecosystems, Cary was the kid in Peoria who watched television for the commercials — not the shows. Over dinner, he and his father — an ad man at the local paper — would break down cadence, headlines, layouts, and offer structure the way other families debated sports scores.

Years later, Cary moved to Los Angeles and met Ramie Ostrovsky — a media agency operator originally from Montreal with the same obsession, applying economic theory to media math. Ramie saw the advantages of small, optimized adjustments producing measurable results. His clients saw extreme value, and the sky was the limit on what they could produce. One obsessed with persuasion. One obsessed with economic structure.

Together, they built OBM to unify disciplined media architecture, measurable attribution, and human psychology into one operating system — built for enterprise pressure.

Our Philosophy

Every era of advertising promises revolution — from printing presses to radio, television to programmatic, and now AI. Each platform arrives with the same mythology: the technology will solve it. But the pattern is always the same.

The breakthroughs were never technical. They were human.

The $19.99 price point wasn't invented by software — it was insight. When brands widened a toothpaste tube opening 10%, sales rose 10% accordingly. That's marketing genius. Not platforms.

No dashboards. No machine learning. Just understanding behavior.

1999

Cary and Ramie met and began designing OBM — a disciplined system that treats advertising as leverage, not placement.

The Origin of The Name

The name came before the business plan.

Oceans represent scale — vast, unpredictable, full of opportunity and risk. That's the modern marketplace.

Bridges represent engineering — deliberate, load-bearing, built to connect two fixed points under pressure.

Put them together and you have what great media should actually be:

not noise, not trends, not motion —
but structure.

The structure that moves commerce across impossible distances.
Between brand and buyer.
Between data and decision.
Between spend and return.

Most agencies sell you the ocean.

We build the bridge.

Because scale without structure collapses. And marketing without engineering is just movement without outcome.

Ocean Bridge Media Group was named for the responsibility we carry — to design the infrastructure that connects ambition to measurable growth.

And the work keeps proving it right.

OBM Today

Ocean Bridge Media Group, Inc. integrates human persuasion with machine precision — reducing volatility, increasing accountability, and building durable growth under enterprise pressure.

Today, AI measures. Platforms distribute. Dashboards report. But mastery still belongs to those who understand the lever.

Advertising was never about the platform.
It was always about the leverage point.
